Network of Strength is a national organization that has helped revolutionize the way breast cancer patients access information and make decisions about their healthcare. In 1978, Breast Cancer Network of Strength was founded by breast cancer patients to provide peer support and fellowship to breast cancer patients. Over the years, they established the 24-hour Network of Strength National Breast Cancer Hotline, which is available to anyone concerned about breast cancer or breast health. Their organization was re-branded on Mother's Day 2008, and they are looking forward to continuing their communications with over 100,000 people on e-mail and 40,000 through standard mail.
