The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) is a project launched by the National Cancer Institute and the National Human Genome Research Institute to use genome analysis technologies to further explore the genetic mutations associated with human cancer.

The end goal of The Cancer Genome Atlas is to accelerate our ability to diagnose, treat, and prevent cancer.
