Cutis Laxa Internationale began in 2001 with the collaboration of nine sufferers from France, the UK, Japan, and the US. Today the organization is in contact with 140 people affected by Curtis Laxa in all countries and has 70 members. The mission of Curtis Laxa Internationale is to break the isolation of those suffering from the disorder, promote awareness, disseminate information, and aid in research efforts. Curtis Laxa Internationale is located in Sainte Marie de Ré in France and will be hosting Curtis Laxa Information Days on May 9 and 10 in Paris, France.
