In 2005, FRAXA joined Genetic Alliance in establishing standards for accurate and credible information on genetic disorders through the Access to Credible Genetics Resources Network. FRAXA’s staff of only three serves a community of 8000, supporting research to treat or cure Fragile X syndrome. Founded in 1994, FRAXA is located in Newburyport, MA.
