[edit] Background
NE Dubowitz Syndrome Family Support, begun in 1995, is an online support resource for those affected by the disorder. They are committed not only to their disorder, but to the accessibility of online genetic disorder support in general. There are 85 people on their listserv, out of 200 families worldwide. A 'Dubowitz day' has recently been organized at Boston Children's Hospital, and initiatives to find the gene and get a definitive diagnosis for Dubowitz are high priorities.
