[edit] Background

Through their clinical work, the founders of OZ Systems saw the need for better information management systems to ensure appropriate and timely follow-up care for their patients. Its first product was designed and built to capture screening and follow-up intervention data related to the care of newborns in an early hearing detections and intervention pilot program. From that evolved a robust patient management system capable of managing multiple newborn screening programs on local, state, and national levels. OZ Systems was founded in 1996, and currently over five million babies’ care records are entered using its system. OZ Systems is located in Arlington, Texas.
