Southern Missouri TeleHealth Genetics is a genetics outreach service founded over 15 years ago. They seek to improve the health of individuals and families by providing patient-centered, community-based medical genetics evaluation and counseling services to rural Missouri. Serving 42 counties in southern Missouri, they have helped patients and families continue to get care and support that they would not have traveled to Columbia to receive. Southern Missouri TeleHealth is currently working closely with Genetic Alliance's Community Centered Family Health History Program.
